It has been well over a year since I touched my blog. I decided I needed to either embrace it or take it down. While I was very tempted to let go, I realized that I have no real record of what I made over the last two + years. So I’m making one more attempt at documenting my finished projects.
This week I finished my challenge project for the Modern Quilt Guild sponsored by Michael Miller Fabrics. I made no real attempt at making it a modern piece of art. Instead, I jumped on the latest quilting craze, arrows.
I did not use a paper piecing template to make my arrows, just a standard quilting ruler. Next time, I’ll use a paper piecing pattern. The ends of my arrows didn’t match up as well as I would have hoped for.
After I take this quilt to guild meeting, I’ll put this to work as a table runner. My cats are already anxious to cover it with cat fur.
